Participants will learn about plants and medicine, sample herbal balms, and make their own to take home. Plant samples have been respectfully collected on the land by syilx Knowledge Carriers.

Would you like to greet students or visitors in nsyilxcən? Would you like to master some basic vocabulary, and gain a deeper understanding of syilx culture and connection to place? Field of Crosses (Sunset Ceremony)

Stop by City Park to Honour and Remember.  

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, at 5:00 pm, we invite you to Kelowna's City Park for a special remembrance. A brief service will be held, followed by the placement of candles at each cross in the Field of Crosses display, a tribute to those who served. Members of the 243 Ogopogo Royal Canadian Air Cadets Squadron will be present as we pay our respects together.
