Meet Ally, our Laurel Bookings Coordinator!

Ally has the pleasure of working in one of Kelowna’s most beautiful heritage buildings – the @LaurelPackinghouse. As part of her role, she manages bookings for the Laurel, transforming it into the perfect venue for a wide variety of events. From Candlelight Concerts and weddings to fundraisers, galas, corporate meetings, artisan markets, graduations, and more, Ally helps ensure every event is a success.

“The best part of my job is seeing how this heritage building is transformed many ways. It truly is a versatile space that can have the simplest set to the most extravagant set yet still can showcase the building. It feels like we are a large part of the community with the events we have here. The clients are great too 😊!”

Before Ally began working at the Laurel, she was already a fan of the venue. “When I played Roller Derby, we rented this venue for our Halloween Party in 2016, and our players still talk about how amazing it was to be in this building. And no, we did not wear our roller skates inside…” Even then she was keen to protect the beautiful wooden floorboards!
