Our Past, Present, and Future: Celebrating and Making 2SLGBTQIA+ History

UBC Okanagan Library and Kelowna Museums Society invite you to a community discussion about 2SLGBTQIA+ history in Kelowna. Join us for a collaborative evening and live taping of the Okanagan QueerStory podcast, hosted by Donna Langille, with special guests Ella Lamoureux and Shannon Lester aka Sasha Zamolodchikova, performers in the Kelowna drag scene.

Audiences will have the opportunity to share their own QueerStory with audience questions, notecards collected on a clipboard wall, and a collaborative artwork creation that will go on display within the Kelowna Museum Society galleries.

Please note that this event will have live recording from 6:30 until at least 7:30 PM. The audience Q&A portion will also be recorded. By signing up and attending, you are consenting to be recorded by the active microphones during these times.
